This just got to Canada?
ReplyDeleteI saw this first at a happening in 1967.
The gizzer Drew
I would consider this printmaking, since they are going after a print impression. At first, I did not know were this was going, but the end result was interesting.
ReplyDeleteMixed media. Collage, stamping with paint, and performance - in a gallery with an audience, loosely structured, The 'prints' the bodies are creating on the paper are not multiples, so I would hesitate to call it printmaking (maybe as monoprints?)
ReplyDeleteUmm painting or printmaking? maybe just sort of lame
ReplyDelete...well, that was helpful.
ReplyDeleteOk, you're right and I have to admit that I didn't make it all the way through to the end of the video the first time around because the first 2/3's was indeed a tiny bit lame/slow. BUT the end result is COLLAGE!!! and me likes it:)
DeleteMixed media is what I see it as. Entertaining and I assume fun to be apart of, but I do not really care for the end result. The art created needed more? More connection to the other pieces, more layers????
