Dear John,

Dear Art heroes of childhood and beyond,
We have had some great times together haven't we? I learned to drink tequilla from you Frida, and even to curse in spanish. I also learned to love my cheating boyfriends, and to throw them out; hence the tequilla. Your acid yellows and gooey greens will be with me always. Dear Picasso, where to begin ole man? You taught me to swim in modernist water and free myself from the constraints of realism; To embrace age with grace because after all, we can still be horny, can't we? But I must put you aside for a bit as I have met some new partners. I had lunch with Dana Schutz the other day- we ate faces of course- and then I followed that date up with a passionate night in the arms of Franz West in something that I think was a bed, but it might have not been. Michel Majerus calls and speaks throaty german, telling me pornographic stories laced with advertising jingles and I am captivated I admit, heavy breathing and all. Amy Sillman moved my psychic furniture around and then we did aerobics while quoting Marceau-Ponty, or maybe we were just hungover. Anyway, we are having a great time and wish you old timers the best, but its time to move on. I'm sure I will visit, and I will always think of you fondly; or fondling- whichever comes first!
